An AI video generator gives you footage. A useful short-form post also needs a reason to watch, readable framing and a finish that fits the platform. Keep those jobs separate and the process becomes much easier to manage.
Pick one idea the viewer can understand quickly
A product reveal, an unexpected setting or a small visual transformation can work as a single scene. Start by writing down what the viewer should notice. If you cannot express that in one sentence, the clip may be trying to do too much.
Do not build the entire concept around a caption that has not been added yet. The footage should carry a clear subject even with the sound off. That also makes it easier to reuse the scene in different posts.
Compose for a vertical screen from the start
Choose 9:16 when you want a full-height vertical composition. Keep important action near the middle rather than pressed against the edges. Platform interfaces can cover parts of the frame, and a face or product hidden behind buttons is hard to rescue later.
A vertical frame is not just a cropped landscape shot. Describe the composition in your prompt: a single subject, enough headroom and no critical detail at the bottom edge. Check the downloaded result on a phone before posting.
Vertical 9:16 shot of a handmade ceramic vase on a pedestal. One flower opens slowly. The vase is centered with clear space above it. Fixed camera, soft studio light, plain background.
Treat a short scene and a finished Short as different things
A five-second generation can be a useful opening or visual loop. It is not automatically a complete narrated story. If you need several scenes, plan the sequence and the finishing work before buying multiple generations.
MeteorVid currently focuses on image and video generation, not a manual timeline editor. Download the footage and use a separate editor or the destination app for any additional assembly, text or music your post needs. Do not assume every model provides synchronized audio or captions.
Add sound and text deliberately
Use captions when speech carries information, and proofread names, numbers and punctuation. Keep text short enough to read during the actual shot. An attractive still frame can hide the fact that the caption disappears too quickly in motion.
Choose music through an appropriate licensed source or the platform’s own library, and check the permissions for your account and intended use. A track available in one app is not automatically cleared for an advertisement or for reposting elsewhere.
Check the final file, not just the preview
Play the export from beginning to end. Look for a weak opening, abrupt last frame, silent speech, visual distortions and unreadable labels. For a loop, compare the last frame with the first: repeating playback does not make a visible jump disappear.
Follow the destination platform’s current requirements for synthetic-media disclosure and advertising. Formats and policies change, so check the official guidance before publishing. No workflow can promise views or reach, but a clear, carefully checked clip gives the idea a fair chance.
